Spelling Dictation
The purpose of Spelling Dictation is to teach students to apply phonograms and English language rules to spell and pronounce words. This procedure is unique to Spalding. Word Analysis develops students’ knowledge of word structure by analyzing high-frequency words for spelling, English language rules, syllabication, and pronunciations.
